Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali is a spanish painter, writer, and member of the surrealist movement. He was born in Figueras, Catalonia in 1904.
If you need to know more about him you can try wikipedia
When I first were introduced to his work, two years ago, I was shocked. His paintings are so bold and harsh, some people describe his art as very negative and dark. But it didn't take me long to realize how much I enjoy analyzing his paintings. I respect the creativity he shoed in conveying the ugliness of humanity in colors. I go over the same painting many times; each time trying to see what Dali was feeling, thinking , or even suffering when he drew it. The way he pictured realistic details amazes me. The paintings will seem odd to most of you, but I would really like to share some of them.

Chasing a dream

Our friend Jakee was sitting resting under the shadow of a tree on a beautiful sunny morning in J World. He was enjoying the view with a big smile on his little rounded face as he spotted a butterfly flying from flower to another, resting for not more than seconds on each.

The butterfly flew closer to Jakee until it came so close to his nose as if kissing it, blowing small gusts of air for him to breathe. He started moving his face slowly and gently into the right and back to the left, and the butterfly moved with him chasing his mouth. Jakee raised his finger for the butterfly to sit on, but it flew away.

He stood up and followed it. The butterfly rested delicately again on another flower. Jakee reached both of his hands around the butterfly to catch it -CLAAP.. he wrapped it. Knowing he catched the fly he giggled with happiness. But as he opened his palms to see it, he was shocked to find there was nothing inside.

Jakee felt so confused, he was so sure he got it. He took a look around but could not see the butterfly anywhere.
"This can't be! I just saw it with my own eyes, I got it in my hands. Even if I did not, it should be here close somewhere!" Jakee thought.

Should Jakee believe what he think he saw and keep looking for the butterfly? Or should he just forget about it and go back sit under the shadow?

Have a Good Day!

I stand with a long road ahead of me, it extends with the horizon and I can not see the end. I am afraid to walk it, its so dark and I fear the unknown. I look around and see people, alot of people all standing still. I move a leg a step forward and stop. All the people follow and do the same. I move another and they move the same.

I stare at the road ahead and I hear voices, and noises that I can not understand. And the people become fewer, much fewer. "Where did they go?" I ask myself or is it "Why did they go?"

I try taking more steps forward, but this time no one follows. I step on a crystal cone, it goes through my bare foot and I bleed. It hurts alot but I do not have the time to feel it hurting.

I need answers but I am not getting any, the only response is the smell of the dark road. And the fewer people are only images, they can not help me.
I look at one of them with tears in my eyes and I ask "Then why are you here?"
"Have a good day!" it replies...

Why?

First of all I would like to declare that I am officially out of J World. It was amazing, I loved the stay there, wish you all can do that sometime. It is truely refreshing.

Ok.. I have a bunch of stories for you all that I have seen in J World but I would like to start with the following

On the second day of my stay in J World, I went down-town to buy some more wood for the house (remember I was building one there) and while arguing about the type of wood blocks I needed with Jimlo, the carpenter, we heard a noise. It was people fighting over something. As I turned to look what was going on, Jimlo came closer to me and said in a low voice:

"Can you see the person in the brown T-shirt, his name is Jeesh. He is a very nice person, but from his last visit to M World he brought a plant, its right there between his arms can you see it?"

I raised my head a bit so I can see clearer, little people were gathering around the scene. I saw a little plant wrapped with Jeesh's arms. I moved closer and Jimlo followed me. Then I stopped when I had a perfect view of it. It was beautiful, looked so fresh in large light green petals with a big colorful flower in the middle. Then I nodded back to Jimlo

"You see! Jeesh wants to plant it here in J World, but little people won't let him, they say there is a rule that forbids him from planting anything in J World that was not planted already."

"You mean they are forbidding him from planting it just because it is from another world, M World was it?"

"Yeah, exactly! "

"But that is not fair, he should be free to plant whatever he wants, and the plant is really beautiful, can't they see how lovely it is? And he is planting it in his yard right? "
"Right."

"So Why? why forbid him? who are they to decide? Who said there are rules in J World! It is supposed to be a happy place."

Jimlo didn't answer any of my questions, he just walked away back to his shop. I was really mad, Little people shouldn't do this. Neither People!

Schizophrenia

An extremely interesting subject! I was talking to a doctor friend of mine the other day about my blog, and "somehow" we ended up discussing Schizophrenic patients!

Anyhow, we can define Schizophrenia as the state when a patient looses realtion with reality (as I previously mentioned in a comment) for a continuous interval of 6 months with the factor of isolating them from their everyday life (their work, pressures, etc..) . This can also be called 'Delusion'

Such patients may suffer from 'Hallucinations', which can come in two forms visual and auditory. As an example for visual hallucination, the patient would see two people and assume they are talking about him, but truely there are no people. Auditory would be in hearing the computer talking to him telling him to do stuff, missions to save humanity.

One of the cases my friend shared with me was a man who tried to committ suicide because he had an illusion of a huge number of insects climbing his body! Another was a young woman who believed her parents were two big snakes wrapped around her waist, pulling so hard in two different directions.

They may also be unable to abstract any information from given data. For an example a doctor asks a schizophrenic patient : "Do you know what brought you to this hospital?" and the patient replies : "A car" This shows that this particular patient (7asseh 7ali a doctor in a movie! khkh..) could not understand the meaning behind the question, being the reason that brought you to the hospital, not the way you got there.

They can also invent terms that have meaning only they can explain, like بطفجوع meaning بطالة وفقر وجوع This one another patient my friend met, he wanted to defeat this beast whom he called بطفجوع

I am not a doctor, I can't cover the whole issue. I just thought it is nice to know about this and hope you enjoyed the ride.

Hello from J World

Dear visitor,

No time, no dates here at/in (Its neither a place nor a time interval) J World . It is great, I don't know how many days have passed by Im just enjoying the stay. No restrictions whatsoever on anything. I don't have to rush it neither not rush it. I don't need to do it neither not do it.

And since I am not scheduled for any agenda, and not restricted by any rules of any knid, I have been acting intensely spontaneous. Knowing that I can make all the results disappear if I want them to, had made all the difference.

And Oh my! Have I been enjoying it! Building this house has affected my breathing. Now I can choose the clearer particles of air, and choose not to breathe the poluted ones, its amazing.

I am using wooden blocks in building my house there, and believe it or not I can mix two different blocks to create a new one with the color and shape I want. I chose a dark shade of brown with a very little glaze in it. So this little glaze would sparkle only at night. I am almost done it looks great; its a cottage rounded from the corners with a huge garden around it. It is still empty from the inside.

I will keep you updated about how it goes.

Yours,
Miss J

Building a house in J World

I am building a house in J World. Ofcourse it's not that fancy, it shouldn't be. J World is a simple world.

I have decided to build a home for me there because I thought I could use some peace, and more simplicity. The days are passing by and with each day the chance of me having the time to spend there becomes smaller. I need to stay there for a while, like a vacation but from everything, not just work.

The days Im spending building the house are the days I think I can stay there. After finishing it I don't think I will be able to stay any longer. But its ok, that is the way you enjoy time in J world.

Well, the goals and aims of our actions in J World are different. It is the proccess itself that counts, not the result of it. For an example, when you make a cake in J World you so much enjoy MAKING it that you can make it disappear after you're done. Tha aim in making the cake here is not the cake itself, but rather the enjoyment of mixing the ingredients. It makes you feel so good that you can make the cake, that you have the power and the knowledge to do so. It boosts your self esteem, its healthy.

I need to live that once in a while. I need to forget all reasons and put sense aside so I can regain some of the good karma Ive been loosing. So, I'll be seeing you in a week :)
