What will you do, if you were Jaizy?

'Jimlo! Come on in', Jaizy said while opening the door of his cottage after hearing a knock

'How are you?' Jimlo saluted
'Good, how about you?' Jaizy replied as he closed the door of the cottage
'Frankly I came to ask you about something that was confusing me for a while'
'Sit down. Tell me what is it?'

Jimlo sat down on one of the wooden logs with a sheepish smile on his face 'Not that I have been watching you, but I noticed something and I need to make sure you are fine. If you feel it's personla please feel free to refuse to answer'

With a wide smile Jaizy said 'Ask then we'll see'
Both exchanged caring gestures and Jimlo continued 'The ink wall! Why do you wear gloves and a mask each time you need to pass by it?'

In silence, Jaizy lowered his head and stared at the floor for a few moments. And as he raised his head Jimlo could see eyes filled with disappointment that made him very sad.
'It is OK if you do not feel like talking about it, Jaizy' Jimlo said

After a sigh Jaizy managed to speak 'Years ago when I was still new at JWorld and the first time I passed by the ink wall, it did not recognize me'
'The ink wall drenched me with black ink. It was a bad experience and with all J people watching I felt embaressed. But that was not what hurt me most' Jaizy continued explaining 'I was shocked that the wall did not recognize me as the wonderful J person I was. It is not supposed to wet J people with black ink but it did with me! It must have had bad thoughts about me.'
'And ever since I have been taking procautions before passing infront of it. It is safer, besides I do not trust it won't drench me again' Jaizy added

'I am so sorry Jaizy, I did not know' considerately Jimlo told Jaizy, 'But do you think you can try once to pass by without the mask and the gloves maybe the wall will recognize you now'

  • it's not so easy to give second chances, it takes years to rebuild what it took seconds to destroy...

    P.S.

    'How are you?' Jimlo saluted
'Good, how about you?' Jimlo replied
