The Journey..3
A slap waked Jeedo up.
'Aaaaaaaaw!' he screamed
Lying on the ground, he looked up at the old creature who slapped him and was laughing loud in a truely strange way.
'Hehe eekh haha ookh..'
He was really short and his face was full of big wrinkles, he had a big nose, and white messy hair; Jeedo felt a bit scared but tried to hide his fear.
'Who the hell are you? And who gave you the right to slap me? I am going to kick your ass!' Jeedo shouted while getting up on his feet, but that damn creature kept laughing 'hehe eekh haha ookh..'
'What are you laughing at?' Jeedo was getting really furious
'Calm down! Are you always this angry?' The creature finally spoke
'Only when a creature I have never met slaps me and laughs in my face!'
'You must be a person who just left home for the first time in his life', the creature had a low pitch in his voice, 'I am Oggy from O World' he reached his hand out to shake Jeedo's
'I am sorry, I had to slap you to wake you up. I was watching you from the moment you sat on that rock' Oggy said
'How did you know I just left home?'
'Oh it shows! You assume too much. I am sorry I was laughing but I just couldn't help myself, quite an act you perfomred there! What is your name, son?'
'Jeedo'
'From J World! Should have figured. Come with me I want to show you something'
Oggy led Jeedo through the woods, until they reached what seemd to be stairs formed by tree leaves and branches. Oggy went down the stairs and Jeedo followed.
When they finally reached the end of it, they were faced by a huge garden, a magnificant garden with all kinds of flowers and beatiful trees. A foutain and little kids running around.
'You see this big leaf up there Jeedo?' Oggy asked
Jeedo looked up at the roof of the garden to see a green big leaf, 'Yeah!'
'If that rock had swallowed you, you would have fallen on this leaf that will put you down slowly on the ground of this beautiful garden' Oggy had a big smile on his face 'Just because you have never seen a rock move before does not mean that it is a bad thing. You should have not been that scared, but you assumed it was going to hurt you when it opened and closed fast'
Jeedo felt small and had nothing to say but 'Well I did not know'
'Not knowing does not justify judging, son. You consider this your first lesson outside your world, you still have a lot to learn'

Had to read "The Journey 1 & 2" in order to keep up, it's been a loooooong time!! It's starting to remind of "who moved my cheese", but it's written in a more suspensory way that keeps you awaiting!
I liked how the ugly moving rock came out to be the entrance of a beautiful garden, looks can be deceiving, but when you don't know you only have two choices, you either judge or probe, when it comes to people, I probe, when it comes to something that might seem to threaten my life -like in Jeedo's case- I definitely will judge :)
Excellent first lesson, awaiting part 4 I hope it wont take another 3 months, keep it up miso

Well first lesson in life, If it looks like a cow, if it smells like a cow and if it sounds like a cow then it surely ain't a rabbit.
